Becki Kelton
The Founder
Meet Becki Kelton, the founder/owner of Upstate Legal Nurse Consulting. Becki’s hands-on experience and education allow her to thoroughly interpret complex medical records and provide services that allow you to shift focus back to your client. Becki has delivered excellence for over 24 years in the field of nursing, which makes her an invaluable partner to provide legal nurse consulting services. Her role as a legal nurse consultant demonstrates her ability as an expert in clinical coordination, care management, patient education and navigating complex medical scenarios.
Becki’s diverse clinical background includes adult trauma, pediatrics, skilled and long-term care, and hepatology. Further experience includes transplant case management and contract negotiations for Medicare/Medicaid. Becki has honed her skills of evidence-based medical research and transcription by achieving her master’s degree in nursing leadership as well as continuing education towards her doctorate in nursing leadership. Becki’s passion and dedication for the industry is evident by her memberships in the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and Pittsburgh and Orlando chapters of the AALNC.
